The All Progressives Congress (APC) has claimed a sweeping victory in the recently concluded local government elections in Kaduna State, winning all 23 chairmanship positions and 255 councillorship seats. The election, organized by the Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission (KAD-SIECOM), saw APC dominate across the state’s 23 local government areas.
Announcing the results, KAD-SIECOM Chairperson Hajara Mohammed confirmed that eight political parties, including APC, PDP, and NNPP, participated in the elections.
