Earlier today, in a live broadcast, President Mahammadu Buhari has ordered the CBN to release the old N200 notes into circulation immediately till April 10, 2023 deadline when it will stop being legal tender. He also stated that the Old naira notes(N1000, N500 are still redeemable at CBN and selected points.
