Obi Accuses Tinubu of Driving Nigeria Into Crisis
Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has launched a scathing attack on President Bola Tinubu, declaring that Nigeria is “finished” under the current administration. Speaking at a political gathering, Obi said worsening poverty, insecurity, and economic hardship define Tinubu’s leadership. As Peter Obi slams Tinubu, he argued that Nigerians now face unbearable living conditions driven by policy failures and poor governance.
Obi warned that Nigeria stands at a dangerous crossroads and needs urgent rescue. He insisted that citizens must stop tolerating leadership that continues to weaken institutions and deepen suffering. According to him, government decisions over the past months have pushed millions further into poverty while insecurity spreads unchecked across the country.
ADC Emerges as Obi’s Chosen Political Platform
During his address, Obi openly aligned himself with the African Democratic Congress (ADC), describing the party as the only credible platform capable of fixing Nigeria. He said ADC represents a fresh political direction built on competence, accountability, and people-centered leadership. Obi called on Nigerians, especially the youth, to rally behind the party ahead of future elections.
As Peter Obi slams Tinubu, he framed ADC as a rescue platform rather than just another opposition party. He argued that Nigeria needs leaders who understand economic management, social justice, and national unity, not recycled political structures that prioritize power over progress.
Criticism Focuses on Economy and Insecurity
Obi blamed Tinubu’s administration for rising food prices, currency instability, and declining purchasing power. He said families now struggle to afford basic necessities, while businesses collapse under harsh economic conditions. He also criticized the government’s handling of insecurity, stating that citizens no longer feel safe in many parts of the country.
In the third paragraph of his speech, Peter Obi slams Tinubu again, stressing that leadership failure, not destiny, caused Nigeria’s problems. He said better planning, transparency, and fiscal discipline could reverse the country’s decline.
Obi urged Nigerians to reject apathy and demand better leadership through peaceful political engagement. He emphasized that real change requires collective action, credible candidates, and sustained civic pressure. He concluded by saying Nigeria still has hope, but only if citizens choose a new path and hold leaders accountable.
