Vice President Kashim Shettima has embarked on a two-day diplomatic visit to Sweden, beginning on October 16, 2024. A major highlight of the trip is Shettima’s engagement with Norrsken, a Stockholm-based venture capital firm. Norrsken recently launched a $205 million tech investment fund for Africa, of which 40% is allocated for Nigerian entrepreneurs. Shettima will discuss ways Nigerian startups can leverage this funding to drive innovation and contribute to the nation’s economic growth. The Vice President stressed the importance of strengthening the tech sector, viewing it as pivotal for Nigeria’s future economic success.
