Divorce has not only become a welcome development in our modern society, but is now a norm and an escape route for anyone who seems to be unhappy or uncomfortable in their marriage.
In the days of our forefathers, divorce was granted on a very reasonable ground unlike today were divorce is granted on petty reasons provided any of party involved says he/she is tired and unhappy.
Statistics has shown that 8 out of every 10 divorce cases are initiated by women and people are beginning to say it is because women benefit the most from divorce this is because many of the richest women on earth today got their fortunes from divorce.
Let us take the trending news of the Morroccan international footballer Achraf Hakimi and his Ex wife as a case study.
News making the round has it that, Achraf Hakimi’s wife Hiba Abouk filed for a divorce and “as usual” asked the court to share Hakimi’s fortune into two equal parts and give her half of his wealth, but unfortunately unknowingly to her, Hakimi had put his fortunes in his mother’s name, Saida Mouh.
